  1. if a pregnancy happens the likelihood of the babies surviving is rare. Also good luck trapping a wild rabbit and mating it with a domestic rabbit. Also I think that their genes are different.

    In North America, wild hares and domestic rabbits cannot produce offspring. It doesn't matter what breed the domestic is, they are a different species.

  4. No.   A wild rabbit (cottontail or jack rabbit) are not able to breed with any domestic rabbit.   Their genetic makeup is NOT the same.    No pregnancy will result.
