Can a country set on fire?

as in, an entire country, or half of it, etc. can that much land, with trees or no trees, support a massive fire?

Definitely! If it is not controlled a fire can continue into multiple countries. It all depends on the climate though (wind, rain, etc)

Depends on the size. If it is just an island or a small town like country like the Vatican then it can but a larger couunty such as France it couldn't.

It's not really probable. There's too many factors that have to be right, such as rainfall, firebreaks like rivers and barren areas, and available dry fuel.

Millions of acres of forests can burn down in the past, but thanks to fire prevention and firefighting strategies, we keep the damage from getting quite as high.

yes, if a tree catches fire in a rainforest it will spread, to maybe a house, the house fire will spread across the estate, the whole estate will bring an amazing amount of heat onto passing cars causing passing cars to set on fire, that car crashes into a shop the whole row of shops set on fire,  spreading out to the opposite petrol station causing a huge explosion, that huge explosion in the petrol station spreads to Dunkin' Donuts nxt door, the list goes on.....
