Can a courier service in the US ship a zippo lighter to guatemala or shipping it is forbidden by US policies?

I doubt it. Generally speaking, anything hazardous or liquid needs to be claimed when shipping something, and may or may not be allowed to travel out of the country (depending on what it is). If the zippo lighter is empty (ie. no lighter fluid), then I'm sure you'd have better luck!! If you didn't claim your hazardous or liquid materials, you could face fines if they happen to open and search your package - which they are allowed to do!

It can be shipped provided there no flamable content. With most ligthers a problem but NOT with Zippo. Just leave out the lighter-fluid and you should be fine.
