  1. yes because they can collect the dna from the body and the genetics when it is not been eaten away yet by maggots.

  2. no

  3. Yes as long as you preserved copies of the subject DNA before they died. Otherwise, no.

  4. if and only if the dead body is preserved through freezing immediately after its life force was gone..then the scientist will do the rest procedures,,,

My answer is yes..Because on today's era there are many high tech devices that can do the impossible things before,,so how much more in the future!.?!

  5. No, once life stops the cells begin to decay and are useless.

  6. it is possible. but than again cloning humans (as far as i know) hasn't been too successful ?

  7. Depends how long they've been dead.

An intact nucleus is required for current cloning technology ("Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer").

If they are recently dead, then the nuclei in many of their cells will be intact and functional (cells in many organs can "outlive" the death of the body for hours, or even a few days).

You could even extract some cells, and grow them in vitro to keep a source of cells for a longer time.

If decomposition has started, then their cells will have started to degrade, and the DNA in the nuclei will be being degraded along with the rest of the body. And at that point, cloning will not be practicable.
