Can a dealer sell me a car with a lein on the car without informing me of the existing lein ?

No he cant sell a car with a lein on it Period. He must  sell you a car with a clear title. If you are getting a song and dance about the lein run and and dont pay. If you buy it and it shows a lein you will have to pay or someone will to get it released. Dont pay until a clear title can be given to you. Even call the lein holder it shows and make sure it has been payed . Also you need a copy of the lein release to prove it was payed..........UJN
