i keep getting bits of food stuck in my upper back molar which has been broken for ages, also sometimes it`gets rather sensitive as it seems to be broken on one side down to the root. also, the tooth is still in firmly and there`s not much tooth left to grab hold of to pull it out. or do you think perhaps it could have a filling instead?

  1. Yes a dentist can get your broken tooth out

  2. what are dentist meant for?

  3. no he will have to pull the tooth, it doesn't hurt, you will be ok. I had the same thing.

  4. fortunately, recent advances in dentistry, can keep even a root of a tooth and rebuild the tooth again over it, natural tooth is so precious dont loose it unless its probelamtic, if the tooth u mean is a wisdom tooth it can be pulled out, and the dentist's job is to do it, if it seems difficult to you, its not for a dentist, he is trained to do it, but try first to keep it

  5. no it has to get pulled. if there's barely any tooth left, no point wasting money to get it filled. they'll numb you first so it won't hurt. unles they numb you with needles...that's what they did to me when i had to get some teeth pulled & it hurt. you can ask for gas...it's painless =]
