  1. Yes, he can tell by  the tar on your teeth.

  2. Depends on if you brush your teeth as much as you should. If you don't brush them as often then he'll probably notice.

  3. Don't worry, even if he notices he's not going to tell your parents. Lots of teenagers smoke. When my dentist noticed that I'd started smoking -- I think I must have been 14 or so -- he teased me by telling the hygienist that I smoked catnip while my mouth was stuffed and I couldn't respond!

  4. he doesnt knoiw taht it was the smoke

  5. Yes,  dental workers can usually tell if you are a smoker.   It changes the way your gums look and the way the roof of your mouth looks,  because it changes the cells in the flesh,  which is why a lot of smokers get mouth cancer,  throat cancer,  etc.    It also causes teeth to turn color,  and the odor doesn't go away in a day or two.

The dentist is not there to judge you,  but it's hard to fool a dentist.  He knows if you are really flossing,  smoking,  etc,  so it's silly to lie to them,  they usually already know the answer.

Your best bet is to just stop smoking,  your teeth, gums,  throat and lungs will thank you !

  6. most probably smoking creates stains on teeth just like coffee tea and some juices and the dentist will see them and ask you to brush right after smoking

  7. YES!!!!! Trust me Dentists know if you are a smoker or not by the look of your teeth and gums. Even if you do not smoke often.

  8. I doubt he will know. But you might as well tell him. It's not like you have anything to hide. It's best to be honest with doctors.

  9. i would think. smoking makes ur teath yellow so i would think he/she could tell

  10. I was a dental assistant. There is no tell all sign of a smoker exept for yellowish brown teeth and the smell. Trust me...the smell (especially if your in a medical setting where it always smells of cleaning supplies and toothpaste in this case) is very noticable. If you really dont want him to know I would say dont smoke the whole day before and the day of. Brush your teeth two to three times the day before and once the morning before. Chew some gum and make sure youre clothes dont smell of it. If he asks about the stains say you drink coffee (coffee also produces yellowish brown stains)

  11. Yes your teeth will show hints of smoking but it doesn't matter it's a dentists job to fix your teeth not to judge you.

  12. Yes most likely the a dentist would know if their patient is a smoker or has recently smoked. It is not hard to tell unless the patient has not smoked in years

  13. no

  14. Probably not, but who cares if he knows? It's not like he's gonna judge you or anything, you're your own person you can do what you want.

  15. it depends on your age.

  16. is this dentist  your daddy

  17. he might be able to tell. by your breath. no matter now much you try to get that smell out, it "will" stay.

are you a teen or something, cuase if you are that's gonna suck if he can tell.  :(

  18. well it depends on how much you smoke.. The answer is yes, but they usually won't tell if they spot it. They can also see if someone has taken drugs.

With smoking the back of some of your front teeth will get a yellowish brown colour on it.

If they are tainted it doesn't matter if you didn't smoke for a long time because it will be permanent..

good luck and all the best of luck from holland
