how old are you? practitioners are not permitted by law to tell or suggest anything to someone's parents except regarding dental care. I mean, they cannot say they see evidence of your smoking. This might be noted in your chart and is confidential, even from your parents. Unless you live in a really small town and your family relative is your dentist, they will talk to you directly about findings like this (and you gotta smoke alot for years for it to stain your teeth, as far as your breath take a mint). so quit worrying. relax
