  1. If you try it 10 000 times (I made up that number, point is many times), you might get an offspring that will end up dying early anyway.

    There are no confirmed cases of "doxes" but many unconfirmed anecdotes.

    The examples you provided are all same-Genus crosses.  Foxes and dogs are only related by Family (Canidae).

    Foxes are much more closely related to cats.  It's too far.

  3. As already said, there are no confirmed cases. Dogs have 78 chromosomes whereas foxes have 34 (as well as ~8% sequence divergence), so a dog-fox hybrid probably wouldn't be viable.
