They sure can.. The Theobromine in chocolate is very bad for dogs. Depends on the size of the dog, and the type of chocolate they get into. It's best not to develop that sweet tooth, and risk it at all. They might be fine with it, and next thing you know, he is at the vet and dying. You cannot predict when / if they will have a problem, so best to avoid it entirely.

lots of it can kill them. the darker the chocolate, the more lethal it is. Dark chocolate is the worst for a dog

some will, some won't. i used to have a boxer, and we accidentally left three whole super-sized hershey bars outside on the table, and he ate all three of them and nothing happened at all. im sure it wasnt good for him, but he didnt get sick or die lol

omgg. yess. they can die from eating chocolate! it attacks their heart and sends toxins into their blood stream and can can cause blood clots, liver failure and heart failure. as well as grapes and other foods. please stick to giving your dog DOG food.
