  1. Generally it can.  You will need to get some information on the "tip trimming" instructions for that particular shaft.

When installed in a driver head, the shaft may not have any tip trimming at all.   When you want that shaft put in a 3 wood head, you will have to tip trim a specified amount.

This is due to a 3 wood head weighs more than a driver head.  So in order to maintain the specific flex of that shaft, you have to tip trim appropriately.

If you don't trim it at all.. and put it in your 3 wood anyway.. you're going to have a real "whippy" 3 wood.  It will probably play about a half flex softer than the flex that the shaft was intended for.

  2. yes i had a shaft taken out of my 3  wood and put in a Graphite one no problem now it's got a whip like affect to it .I can hit farther with my  3 wood than my Driver no ****......Good Luck

  3. yes as long as the hossile size (the size of the tip of the shaft and the opening of the club match up) if the tip of the driver is smaller than the 3 wood they can put in an insert to make it work, if it is bigger than the 3 wood then no it won't work.

  4. Give it a go and see how it plays. The only difference putting a driver shaft in its going to be longer.

  5. If you put the driver shaft in the 3 wood it is going to be longer than a normal 3 wood shaft.  That's going to effect the way you swing the 3 wood and could hurt your game.  Why not take the 3 wood to a pro shop/golfsmith pick out a new shaft for it and have the proper size shaft inserted into the 3 wood.

  6. It is possible, but probably not a great idea because the driver shaft is longer and will be harder to control than a 3 wood shaft put into it.  It is possible though.  You may want to just buy an Aldilla 65-S 3 wood shaft and put it in rather than putting a driver shaft in it because it will be the proper length and will have the correct specs.

  7. GO THE PINK SHAFT!

You could try to replace the shafts but I don't think it would work very well as certain shafts would be specially made for driver and 3-wood.

    Yeah luke!

  8. i dont see why not
