Can a employer release the "DETAILS" of a termination to a court?? ?

Isnt an employee/individual protected by privavcy laws??

  1. REspond in full to a court order? Bet on it.


  2. If the information is subpoenaed for a legal matter, then it can be disclosed.  

    Hope this helps.

  3. Even if there was some general privacy law, (there isn't) the employer could tell a court if it was relevant.  For instance, where one claims wrongfull discharge the company can defend itself.

  4. With future employers Yes you are protected . I'm not sure about the courts thou, If they really wanted the information they would just subpoena it!
