  1. Yes it should show up on an xray


  2. If they take an x-ray, they will be able to see if the root was filled/cleaned out completely.  Sometimes the DDS will miss filling the canal all of the way and the will have to go back in and do it again.  OR...you might get another abscess that will show up on an x-ray.
