Question:

Can a felon work in broadcasting?

I just filled out an online questionaire for Specs Howard school of broadcast arts. It asked if I have ever been convicted of a felony. I said yes, prescription fraud. Why would they ask that?

Does this mean I can't be a student there? Does this mean I will never be able to work in radio again? I live in Michigan.

  1. Probably.

  2. It should not mean that, I can recall an announcer on Buffalo T.V. years ago who was convicted of armed robbery, and after he got out of jail, he was back on the same station.
