Question:

Can a female in the Navy be stationed on a ship?

I have heard that women can and that women can't. Not sure what the correct answer is. I've searched the web to find out, but haven't received a solid answer. Anyone? Thanks!

  1. Yes. Everything from aircraft carriers to destroyers.  


  2. Yes, absolutely.  If you join the navy you should count on it.

  5. Yes, I have a Sister-in-law who just got back from sea.  Women on all branches now see combat.  Although, there is still guidelines to dissuade it.

    They cannot, currently, be stationed on subs though.

  9. Yes there are ships that are not co-ed, they are all female.

  10. Yes. they don't mind placing females on ships.  Carriers, LHDs, Cruisers and Destroyers..

  11. Yes...there are hundreds of Females serving on US Navy ships...
