Question:

Can a fiftyish woman wear a dress with leggings? Pictures of outfits would be great. What shoes should I wear?

  1. Yes; I remember reading a lengthy article on this in Vogue, in the Mrs. Exeter section lol. However, the dress you wear should be closer to knee-length, and boots are best with this look. It's great because it actually covers and shows off the legs at the same time. A pedicure though? You weren't thinking of wearing those cropped leggings, were you? Even young girls are starting not to wear those; they might look a little off on someone over forty.  


  2. My cousin's mother in law wore leggings and a t-shirt, she look extremely nice and fresh.  

    OH and she's over 60!

    So wear what you like, clothes don't have an age limit anymore.  Just as long as they fit the body that's wearing them.

  3. You are just going for a pedicure. Just throw on some shorts and flips and get going. Do you really need a whole outfit?
