i was playing ncaa09 with my friend and i was down 3 with a second left. he kicked an on side kick which went out of bounds resulting in an illegal procedure penalty. i know that a game cannot end on a defensive penalty so how did the one second get wiped off and the game end with a kick that went out of bounds?

  1. anything is possible

  2. that's an Offensive Penalty!

  3. On a kick off the kicking team is consider the offense.  If the attempted onside kick was never fielded then they remained the offensive team.  Since the penalty occurred on the offense the game can end on a penalty.

  4. cause it took a second for the ball to go out of bounds... Get a life and quit playing games as if they were REAL

  5. It cannot end on a defensive penalty   Offensive penalties don't apply
