Can a foreigner or non-filipino apply for US tourist visa in the US embassy in Manila?

  1. A foreigner could certainly apply, whether or not he's a legal resident in the Philippines. The chances of getting a visa approved would be better if he did have legal residence there. Generally, it's better to apply for a tourist visa in your home country as you have to show your ties to your home country. If you have no ties to the Philippines, that can't help. It doesn't make it impossible, just more difficult.


  2. if you have legal status in the philippines... such as a permanent resident or having work or student visa, then yes. if you're a tourist, then no, you can't.

  3. Yes, you may but am wondering why would a foreigner apply for U.S. tourist visa from Manila and not from your own country?

  4. yes  if you're a resident   there in Manila if not  u need to apply from your own country in person  no 3rd party country
