  1. It is possible he could be chosen but he could not serve as president.

  2. This is a question that does not have a definitive answer right now, as it has never been tested. The 22nd Amendment prevents anyone who has served two terms or one term and more than two years of someone else's term from being elected President. Article Two sets forth the qualifications for office for President. The Twelfth Amendment says that anyone who is Constitutionally ineligible to be President cannot be Vice President. Some interpret these together to say that anyone who is ineligible to be elected President (Such as Clinton or Bush, as they served two terms) cannot become Vice President. Some say that the eligibility the 12th refers to is only the qualifications listed in Article Two, so a two-term President can still serve as VP, and then, if needed, assume the office of President. However, since this has never come up in practice, no court has ever had to rule on the issue, so we don't really know the answer.

  3. No.  The VP has to be eligible to be president--and Clinton is not because he served 2 terms.  Jimmy Carter or George Bush Sr., on the other hand . . .

  4. yes

  5. No, Bill can't be the presidents vice. And Carter would have been Obama's second choice for vice.

  6. No, because part of being eligible for VP is that you are also eligible to be President.  Since Bill can't be president again, that means he can't run for VP.
