Can a frog choke to death on a cricket?

Question

My daughter fed her frog and it was eating fine. She left the room and came back a couple hours later and it was dead. Could it have choked on a cricket? Some of them were a little larger than it was used to?

its possible but unlikely frogs can usually swallow quite large food items
