Can a full time dorm living students switch to part time, and keep their room?

i want to switch to part time to decrease the work load but i don't know if i will lose my room.

if u become a part time student, ur not allowed to stay on campus!

Did you pay up front? If so they shouldn't mind. If not, then probably.  But you actually have to check with your financial aid, if theyll take the money back if you drop to part time then youll have to pay out of pocket.

Can't you keep the minimum number of classes to be full time? its normally just one more class.

Oh Oh! This is a problem. ! You need to be careful - only the Registrar or Dean of your college can answer this question, but in the college I taught at, part time students could NOT live in the dorms, And what's more, if you drop from Full-time to part time you could lose your scholarship - or even worse, your student loans could come due and you would have to start paying them off!

You need to check with your Registrar and your Financial Aid office before you drop any course that would leave you with less credits than you need for Full time status.!
