Can a garnishment be took out of my check for 9 months, then stopped, and started over again?

  1. A garnishment cannot be "started over again" meaning that they cannot collect a portion of the judgment debt owed, then start collecting the entire debt again.  However, if for some reason a garnishment is stopped before the entire judgment debt is paid in full, papers can be filed and the garnishment can resume until the entire judgment debt is paid in full, including any interest due.
