  4. Yes she can and if you have any doubt please go and see your doctor and talk to her and tell her what you want if you are.

You decide as to what you want to to as this is a life changing decision in case you are.

Do not become maternal and think it is all easy street because it is a long road and I do not know how old you are but you have your life ahead of you.

If you cannot talk to your mum then anyone else you can trust and in case you are not -have protected s*x next time or go on the pill so you won't have to go through this h**l again.

  12. Contrary to popular belief, a woman is not necessarily immune to pregnancy during the menstrual period or directly following it.  For most women, it's simply a less likely time for conception to occur.  If for example, a woman has absolutely regular 28 day cycles, always ovulating 14 days from her last period, then pregnancy should not occur during menstruation, but not so many women fall into that category.

According to About.com, "Researchers found that the potential for fertility exists on almost every day of a woman's menstrual cycle. Most women in the study were between the ages of 25 and 35--prime reproductive age and the age when menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility was found to be even more unpredictable for teenagers and women approaching menopause."

Even though the egg only lives about 1 day after release, sperm live for 2-5 days (sometimes more)  after s*x, so even if the woman isn't ovulating at the time of s*x, the sperm will be waiting.  Women with shorter periods or less predictable cycles, then, hold a greater chance of pregnancy occurring during menstruation.
