Can a girl become a pilot 2 and is good height necessary for becoming a pilot?

I've been a pilot for more than 40 years, and I flew professionally for 37 of those years.  Last time I looked, I was still a girl, if silver hair and bad arthritis don't disqualify me.

So it adds up to YES!  Girls make great pilots.  I have known professional pilots of both genders ranging from 5 foot 1 inch to 6 foot 5 inches.  Thereabouts.  Six foot some-odd.

I am 5  foot 11 inches, and I am not sure I could have floated the flying career in the 1960s if I had not been taller than a lot of the guys.  But women pilots are much more common now, and it matters a lot less.

So go for it!

Yup! Anybody can be a pilot as long as they follow directions, and have good training.

Yes you can,Just go to school and get your hours done as well and you should be good to go. You might not get paid as much as guys but that is life now days. I wish you the best of luck. :)

of course a girl can become a pilot... what year are you living in? As long as you're under 5'6 I think you're good

yes they can :) and nope i dont think thier is a height limit, there is for flight attendants that is no smaller than 5ft3(2 depending on the air line) but thats just to reach the cabinets above the seats!

Yes, a girl can definitely become a pilot and no, there is no height requirement.  I had a friend in college who was a pilot and I think she was about 5 feet or so and did perfectly fine.  Best of luck to you!

Yes Females can become a Pilot civvies or military.  Height is not a concern however all civilian pilots have to speak English which is used by all Air Traffic Control Centres world-wide.

hey, i'm a student pilot in the philippines and i have classmates who are girls..

i'm not sure about height.. but u must have good eye sight, not color blind, and a lot of money. lolz

and discipline too.. and good eye-hand-feet coordination.

try microsoft flight simulators..

You need to be at least 142 cm or 5 feet 4 thats all, but even good eyesight is not a must so long as your eyesight is correctable to 20/20 with laser or contacts glasses are not normall acceptable

Only 5% of pilots are wowen in the commercial industry for passangers and freight but thats because it just doenst really appeal to a lot of women, but good luck with it, i want to be  a pilot someday and hey maybe we will be flying the same plane !! LOLZ ##
