  1. No, goats aren't allowed in church unless you are sacrificing it. Good grief, that's just going a little too far. A dog maybe, but not a goat. And best be an outside wedding if she wants to put that goat in a dress.

  2. I've heard of dogs being ring bearers but not a goat being a bridesmaid.  I don't think a church would let you do that but an outside venue probably would.

  3. Does Waffles have a date for the wedding?

just that no one invited me yet :(

  4. Assuming you're serious...

Some people like to have their pets involved in the ceremony. I've never heard of a goat in a wedding before, but I know some people who have had their dogs act as ring bearers, so whatever floats your boat!

Check with the church officials. Most likely, the goat will not be allowed indoors, so if it's very important that Waffles be a part of the ceremony, you may need to select a different venue.

  5. Oh dear. Why on earth would you want this? And why would the church want to let this happen? Who is going to clean it up when it poops in church???

  6. color/colour me surprised if not shocked, but what happened to the misses??

    aren't you married??

Does Mrs. SM know you're getting married??

    Do you live in Utah?

I need a date for this wedding, maybe I can bring Kev!!!

  7. Eh? What happened to Mrs Scotch Mist, and why is she now your fiancee?

You should get yourself a sheep instead of the goat...

Mrs Scotch Mist ~ What happened to the skihat? Put it back on, it suits you.

  8. I think so.  Goats are the coolest domesticated creatures ever.  Their independence makes cats look like desperate balls of love and affection.

  9. Are you serious?  On your wedding day, you want to be dealing with your pet goat in the church and I assume at the reception too?  Peeing & pooping all over?  Who are you going to designate to spend all night taking care of it?  Will you put a diaper on her?  Really think about this.

Why not just get her a dress made for a large dog and take a couple of funny pictures and save being a bridesmaid for your human friends.

  10. It might be OK, I would tell you fiancee that she will need a frilly bucket too.  LOL

  11. i hope you are not serious!

but i guess it depends on the church.. i think it would be fine for an 'outside wedding' -lmao

my sister-in-laws friend had a rabbit in her wedding (hehe) they put it into a little buggy.. so i guess a goat would be fine too

  12. LOL of course yeah why not?

Whats he wearing? Did you buy matching outfits for his kids? haha

  13. I guess so, but just watch out that Waffles doesn't eat everything in sight!  lol

a nice ring of flowers around Waffle's neck would look nice

  14. In the church? You would have to ask them... If this is what you want, go for it... just make sure the church clears it first... Good luck.

  15. sorry, Mist, that position is already occupied by my kitty

  16. This is the best question ever. I've never laughed so hard. Okay, maybe I have, but not today, at least.

The name "waffles" is icing on the cake.

  17. As long as the curch does not mind, i dont think it would be a bad idea. If the flower girl is old enough to walk it down the isle, i think it would be cute!

  18. I have seen animals in weddings on the TV show "My Redneck Wedding" so I am sure it is possible.

    Good luck!

  19. Why not?

  20. mmh so all this time you were living in sin??? well regardless, waffles will make a lovely bridesmaid maybe you can have a garden wedding like Kev.. that will make waffles happy.

don't forget to send me a invite..

oooh the misses wants a word Your in trouble...hee hee

  21. Sure, it can be a bridesmaid.  Maybe they would allow it in the church, if it doesn't poo anywhere or eat the Bibles....

    :o)

  22. why not? dogs and cats can! why not goats?

  23. Scotch Mist, my delicious piece of man haggis, can I have a word with you?

Lulu we will have a party, you're invited. Misty might not make it!
