Can a gold fish drown?

i know it sounds stupid but can it?

I think if you forcibly pour a lot of water in its bowl all at one time it could, but other than that, I'm not sure.  Interesting question!

Well, goldfish no. But some fish like Betta's and gouramis have a special gland at the top of their head that allows them to breathe air. If they have no access to air they will die, so no, goldfish can not drown, but YES some fish can drown.

if ur fish died and you think thats the reason its probably old or somtin went wrong but if its just a question, no they cannot drown

No. But, they can be deprived of oxygen and die.

No.Fish have to live in the water or they will die.There is some oxygen in the water,and fish use that to breath.
