  1. in a straight line of course..

wanna try it around a track? highly doubt it.. its not impossible, but if it'll take down that lambo its not going to look anything like it did before

you have to remember, these super cars were purpose built for the track, and aerodynamics is one huge area where the super cars have the boxy muscle's beat. plus most super cars are MR engine layout for better balance which makes the handle better and corner faster, big muscle cars have their engine waay up in front, and thats gonna throw the balance off.. plus you also have things like high speed computers and advanced systems in these super cars to help it go faster.. such as the new GT-R, its heavy as h**l, but its able to shed its weight off, get power to the road and other stuff thanks to its advanced computers.

  2. In a straight line, maybe.

  3. yes it is sure

  4. Absolutely! Speed is all about power to weight ratio and handling.  It really easy to outrun a super car in a straight line, but when the pavement curves it's a whole new ballgame.  Certain cars are considerably easier to modify than others.  If you are expecting to out corner a Porsche with a chevelle well have fun, but something like a fox body mustang its relatively easy although far from cheap.  I had a buddy that spent roughly 50 grand on his fiero just to outrun ferraris and well it did.  He had to lower the car onto the motor and take the car off the motor to change the spark plugs, but the guy driving that spyder on I90 was none to happy about seeing taillights at 180

  5. yes...

  6. yes just like it is possible for a highly tuned Japanese car to take down a muscle car.
