Can a grade 12 high school student take AP English in night school, or even through correspondence?

I have taught AP courses in language. Students were always required to be in regular class during the school year, with exceptions for illness or injury. The courses are very intense and really require the exchange of ideas among students and a great deal of discussion. I have not heard of any night or correspondence courses for AP English, but you might ask your Dean or Guidance Department if your area offers such courses.
