  1. Worth a try i guess :)

See how they react, and if its ok, do it more often.

But always supervise, because you never know...

  2. No, The hamster will try to bite and bother the guinea pig. Never mix species of rodents as a rule.

  3. well dwarfs hate company but other hammies like it when they are nice

guinea pigs also love company hope i helped

  4. Normally guinea pigs are very skittish so I don't think it would try to hurt the hamster, but the hamster may be frightened by the guinea pig's much larger size.  What I would do is closely monitor "play time" and if they show any sign of aggression separate them.

I would love to pictures of them.  I just love hamsters, guinea pigs, etc.

  5. the guinea pig would kill the hamster. wow your hamster is old. they only live about 2 years.

  6. hm.. I imagine that you could try them together. Be very very careful though, when they are playing stay right next to them.Make sure to hold on to one of them, so that you can quickly separate them if any conflicts arise. If they start to fight, or it looks like one of them is distressed, separate them immediately, and don't let them play together anymore. Obviously, this is risky. Guinea pigs are much happier when they have another piggy friend, so if you really feel like your piggy needs company, make sure that your cage is big enough, and get another guinea pig.

  7. They may, it depends on your guinea pigs and hamsters attitude. My gerbil ATTACKED my guinea pig and now she is afraid of gerbils haha

  9. i dont think so.

the guinea pig might try to kill the hamster.

sorry but thats just the way it is.

  10. No, but I have heard dwarf rabbits and guinea pigs make good matches.

In my opinion though, I think it's best to just have guinea pigs and guinea pigs.
