  1. i my experiments......nooo. even if they are sweet and loving, they are very teritorial. sometimes you cant even keep like species together. its better not to try and mix. hope i helped :] good luck

  2. No, of course not. They are different species and don't speak the same language.

  3. A hamster and a guinea pig can live in the same house, but NOT in the same cage!  I wouldn't advise putting those two together for several reasons.

    1.  Hamsters are solitary creatures and are VERY territorial.

    2.  Guinea Pigs need a larger area for a cage.  Hamsters require a cage with a maximum bar spacing of 1/2 inch.

    3.  They are two different species of animals...no matter how friendly they seem toward one another, they will NOT get along when put in the same cage.

  4. No. Hamsters are extemely territorial and might hurt or even kill your guinea pig.

  5. No, the hamster would eventually attack and possibly kill the guinea pig if they were caged together.  Hamsters are actually quite territorial and can be very aggressive.  As well, guinea pigs and hamsters have extremely different nutritional and housing needs.  It would be better if you put them in cages near one another and took them out to play together (supervised) every once in awhile.  But as far as living arrangements, they should each have their own separate cage.

  6. No. Guinea pigs are completely different to hamsters. They eat different foods, are different sizes and require different amounts of space. The hamster and guinea pig will fight and either the hamster will injure the guinea pig or the guinea pig will sit on the hamster and kill it.

  7. Guinea pigs and hamsters can't live together under any circumstances.  They have very different nutritional needs.  They could also hurt each other badly.  They each need their own home with the appropriate food.

  8. Only if you want one or both injured or dead.

  9. Sadly, no. They cannot live together no matter what. Although guinea pigs and hamsters are both wonderful pets, they aren't so wonderful with eachother and may hurt each other.

Not only is there no chance they'll get along, they also have very different diets.

  10. No, hamsters and guinea pigs should never be introduced. You should, though, get a friend for your guinea pig. While Syrian hamsters live alone, guinea pigs are very social animals and need a friend of the same species and gender to keep them entertained when you aren't around.

  11. No they should not live together. The piggy will eventually become larger then the hamster and might potentially hurt the hamster.
