Can a guinea pig die of eating fertilized grass?

Question

I was wondering because our grass in our backyard was fertilized last week and now where putting them outside to eat grass since its been a week. There was a lot of rain and sprinklers this week so should my guinea pigs be ok? And what are some signs that my guinea pig is sick of eating fertilized grass?

usually it is safe for dogs after a treatment like 24 hours later, but if it pellets, they might still be in the grass.  I don't think if they are out for a short time it would hurt.  Just watch them,  but check with a vet.  Or a lawn care service to be sure.

hello. my suggestion for you is, NO do not put the guinea pig on the fertilized grass. Fertilizers for Grass is not good for all beings. live long and prosper. : }

YES! Don't let them in fertilized grass at all. If you want to play with your piggy in the lawn, ask a neighbor or go to a park where you know the grass is unfertilized.
