  1. Ours live in a hutch outdoors, and in summer days we put them in a run on the grass outdoors. We've had guinea pigs for 11 years, and they've all been perfectly happy and healthy outdoors.

  2. yes. as long as they don't get overheated, & they have a hutch or something to live in, & they have (optional) a fencing around  a spot in ur lawn or backyard (sumwhere grassy) to run around in, ur good to go!

  3. well i think any kind of animal can live outdoors, animals will learn to adapt to its environment and surroundings, for those who cant they would be eliminated through a natural process called "survival of the fittest"

  4. No, indoors is best http://www.guineapigcages.com/location.h...

  5. No, as domesticated animals they should be kept indoors where they are safe from predators and temperature extremes.

  6. They can live outside if they have a place for shade.  I have a guinea pig, and she stays inside, though.  Some friends had a couple of pigs, and kept them outside and they fried because it was too hot.  You also cannot keep them outside if it is too cold.  I would recommend keeping them inside most of the time, but maybe you could bring them out sometimes.
