Can a guy be a fairy?

Question

This all started because my friend asked me whether Peter Pan was a fairy. I think the answer is yes, guys can be fairies, because i secretly reckon tinkerbell is a guy, and has a g*y crush on Peter....but....thats just my interpretation.

Since legend mentions both a king and queen of the fae (faerie people), I would say, yes.

I have heard they are.  Someone told me they were doing a reading on a client and a male fairy showed up.  He told her he was a "champion f**t surfer" were he lived.  She had a tuff time relaying that info to her client, but thats what the fairy told her.

There are many male fae but they don't get quite the attention the females do.

Faries have to have a gender... they have to be able to reproduce therefore there has to be male fairies however there are many different names for them but nonetheless there is a male gender of fairy there has to be... good luck on your quest!

faeries aren't physical, their nature is malleable and they can appear to be whatever gender they want. on top of that, "faeries" can be a very general term, as it just indicates a creature from the realm of Faerie, which is probably a parallel or intersecting dimension.

According to the Disney Faries collection of books (also in audio) The male version of faeries are called "sparrow men," this version of never land folklore is endorsed by Walt Disney studios so you could accept that as fact or you could go with the movie Fairy Tale A True Story the males are called fairies just like all the rest, but they have fairy sized horses which makes the whole thing a bit cooler. In some of the more ancient mythology, especially that of Ireland and Scotland the fairies are usually human sized and there is even a story of a faerie king who fell in love with a human queen and starting a game of chance with her husband in which he constantly raised the stakes and each time lost until the king bet the hand of his wife in marriage and the faerie king won took his bride and they lived happily ever after (she loved him too) He took her to his land of course.

They are all over the place in West Hollywood. I see them all the time. You can tell them from the other guys, from there nice clothes, and shoes. Most of the time they have little dogs with them.

Yes - the fey or fairies are both genders. And tinkerbell was very much female.
