I've been wondering this too... I mean sexual discrimination is a federal law, not state, so I would assume that it must be possible. But that contradicts the fact that I've never seen or heard of a male waiter at hooters, so...

wait for more responses I guess.

update: I looked up some information and apparently, Hooters will not hire men as waiters (although they can be cooks, etc), but they're being sued about it, and might be forced into hiring male waiters. Their argument is that the women are the product or at least a part of the product (much like a strip joint, I guess) and so forcing them to hire male waiters would be forcing them to change their product, which sexual discrimination laws don't call for. I guess.

its not the shorts..  you just think it would be working with the hooters girls and getting free wings all day..  I don't think a server should take someone's order with buffalo sauce smeared across his cheek though..
