Can a guy that is 19 go to jail for kissing 14 year old girl in public?

ok i have this friend that is scared to kiss his girl friend in public because she is 14 and he is 19 can anyone but the girls parents say anything and she really likes him and he broke up with her for that reason so help me out with this one im confused i dont know what to do

I hooked up with some chick at a frat party who said she was 18, then I found out the next day she was only 16, lol Im 19 and that was bad enough for me. I dont see how this guy can have a 14 year old gf, thats just messed up.

well he has no business being with her anyway because a high school freshman and a person outta high school have nothing that can keep them together, it just doesn't work. The maturity levels are so different, but to answer the initial question no, he cannot get arrested for kissing her in public. A cop isn't gonna come up to a kissing couple and demand ID, and besides it isn't illegal to kiss a minor, it's illegal to have s*x with one.

Well first of all a 19 year old person should be going out with a person in his age category, which should be above 18. If the kiss is outragous then he could get in trouble for sure but i dont no what would be the consequences. Theres not much to say because you no what the right answer is. Deep down at least.

It's not illegal - it's only illegal if he has s*x with her. It'll just look weird, is all, if she looks a lot younger than him. But you never know, maybe they look like they're close in age.
