after 2 months. When I wake up from sleeping, my eyes are bloodshot red, could this be related to the head injury I suffered over 2 months ago.

It could also be something else, but only seems to happen either when my contacts are in or after I wake up.

In which case my contacts arent usually in at night or in the morning to have caused the red eyes while I sleep.

  1. Maybe you're leaving your contacts in for too long.  Even if you have already removed them, you could've caused the problem before taking them out......I know that happened to my son.  It was pretty severe.  The eye doctor told him that he wore his contacts too long before that happened.

  2. could be allegies, too, lots of pollen around this time of year.

  3. Sleeping with contacts is a bad idea.. They will cause your eyes to dry out more than usual.. and if you do this frequently then it could be part of the issue.. If you believe this to be something from a head injury you really should contact your physician.. Good luck.

  4. no it wont only a little red but you cant see red on it so its fine
