Question:

Can a healed wound show up in a postmortem examination?

This a fairly strange question, but I am writing a story and although I've looked for information online I'm still not certain of what the answer would be. My character was stabbed on the neck with a knitting needle once, and once it healed completely she was left with only a small tiny scar. Now, two weeks after her death I wonder if by examining the body the scars or the wound could be seen, and if it would be evident by just looking at the body or a more through examination would be needed...
