  1. Wood will burn at 451 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat guns operate around 1500 degrees Fahrenheit, so yes quite easily it could set the wooden siding on fire. BE CAREFUL!!!

  4. Uh, yes.  Quite easily, especially if the siding is old.  You're not planning to burn someone down, are you?

  5. Hi ...........yes it can ........can't you just pressure wash , fill and paint............or is the siding really bad. Depending on what type of siding I have rolled it over and used the other side before...............I'm referring to horizontal bevel siding or a vertical board and bat...or inverted batten.  That will work also..........good luck.........bye. You just have to be careful taking it off and reversing it.........as not to break the boards...be patient.
