  1. Olive oil will work, but corn oil is cheaper and works just as well.

If your horse is having trouble holding his/her weight, have you had his/her teeth checked?  Sometimes if the cheek teeth have gotten rough, a horse can't chew hay as thoroughly as he needs to get all the nutritional benefit from it.

  2. Yes, a horse can have olive oil. Atleast Ive given it to my horse before, and he really liked it, and was perfectly fine.

  3. This has nothing to do with horse racing.  Use pets next time.

  4. Olive oil is safe for humans and horses.

Also check out the equine line from Tahitian Noni juice.  It will be the best thing you can give your horse.  go under www.tni.com/anneviolette and click on "animal nutrition" and "equine essentials" to learn more about what it does for your horse.

  5. This is the horse racing section but yes, horses can have olive oil.
