Supposing certain criteria were met, yes a human could run faster than a horse...if you don't believe me, just imagine the horse is missing a front left leg and a back right leg or vice versa...it's legs were attatched backwards at birth, or it is a siamese horse at the rear...still don't think you could outrun our horse?? Well then suppose the horse were hooked on Methamphetamines and hadn't slept in 4 days nor ate in 3, now this same horse is cashing in pop cans, stealing air conditioners, and solicitating s*x to support it's growing habbit. Everyday is an illusion for our pathetic, skeletal friend. Even his own mother locks her doors when he comes into the neighborhood. And just as the horse's back starts to feel that cold, damp, stony surface we like to call "rock bottom," restoration comes in the form of a 2-hour special on the Doctor Phil Show entitled, From Stallion to Tweaker; How I got my life back. Now the horse works at Jolley Pirate Doughnuts, on the late crew, has a fiance, and just got approved on a first time homebuyers loan....yes things are looking up for our horse...but the excessive weight loss of the three year Tweaker binge coupled with his current massive weight gain, thanks to the availability of dough-nuts, have resulted in a weak heart which means you could definately beat him in a foot race.

Only a very slow horse ... like some of the ones I've bet on in my time.

Horses are roughly double the speed but can maintain that speed for some miles.  Over two miles the fastest human is about 15 miles per hour.  A horse, over 30 mph
