  1. It depends on the type of car. hybrid just means alternative fuel


  2. it uses electricity when turned on and when in drive it uses gas and then when your going the highest speed it switches back to electricity.  atleast that is how the new one is

  3. A hybrid can use a lot of available things  yes.  The older...greys..very well know how to put  resources on our planet to good use, and are there help and advise the hybrids... so the answer is yes and often as well and better than we do and can.

  5. As far as I know the only flex fuel hybrid is the Ford Escape.

    Soon you will find plugin hybrids.  The more electricity you receive from house and office electrical connections, the less gas you use.

    Most pump gasoline has added oxygenation compounds such as MTBE and ethanol.  The problem arises when ethanol is all or most of the blend; engines are not easily adapted to instantly recognize and adjust fuel mixtures and compression.
