I'm gonna start a career as a pro wrestler and want to know if I can make a decent living just working on the independent scene. I do not want to work in the WWE, unless they change their approach to wrestling, TNA is a maybe and I would love to work in Ring of Honor. I love the sport with a passion and really just want to do it for a living, so I need to know honest and and actual answers from wrestlers or people who know wrestlers who work the indies. I'm not looking to get rich, just want to know if I have the charisma and the wrestling ability that I can make a decent living .

  1. clear that if receives but that a normal fighter

  2. u can only make a living as an indy wrestler if u have a job to fall back on. indy wrestlers really only get paid $25-$50. $75 is a good night, but thats it. the indy wrestlers i know, just do it cus they are living a dream and they think like u do. they dont want to go to WWE, but want to go to TNA and ROH.

  3. yes of course he has great talent

  4. don't quit your day job. If you do a show and make like 100 bucks i look at that as good supplemental money while working and also you get exposure. most people that go all out and join a school either have extra jobs or some other form of cash flow. the money is good at the top but just starting off don't bank on it keep a job also. Also there are different levels on the Independent circuit. playing a high school gym is way different than playing a state fair or highly promoted event it also depends where you live or wrestle out of. Most of all even more than talent and skill is getting in good with whatever promoter your working with and having a good head on your shoulder to know when your being taken advantage of or not. good luck
