Can a japanese apply for the Brazilian tourism visa in the U.S.?

I mean ... can she apply for the Brazilian visa in the Brazilian consulate in NY even if she´s not American?

  1. No. You must have a US passport to be issued a visa at the UNITED STATES brazilian consulate.


  2. as long as the japanese person has status in the US... like permanent residency or work or student visa, then yes. otherwise, he/she will have to apply from japan.
