  1. yup i enlisted at 17 just finishing up my junior year and now i have about 5 more months left till basic.

my total time as a DEPer willbe a full year so yes with paren tal consent you can enlist in the marines and to answer the other question after you graduate you leave for boot camp.

this is if your parental unit gives consent if you are under 18 before its time for you to leave for basic.

i will be 18 in october so i had parental consent but in the long run it wont be needed.

    GOOD LUCK !!

& i look forward to serving my country with you!

  2. There are certain rules for your case..At 17 with consent yes you can enlist into the DEP BUT you can not be in the DEP for 2 yesrs..

It depends on when your birthday isand when you plan on graduating....The USMC recently changed the rule which will allow USMC prospects to be in the DEP for more then a year. Prior to this you could only be in the DEP up to one year..

It is gonna depend on when you turn 17..If your 17 at the start of your junior year then you will not be allowed to enlist into the DEP if you plan on graduating at the end of senior year...Because that would mean you would be in the DEP for your entire junior and senior years..Thats to long

If you plan to graduate mid term for example of senior year then everything gets moved back that same amount of time..But you have to prove that your on schedule to graduate early.

  3. Of course!

That's what my "boo" did. He actually graduated High School early and was in boot camp at the age of 17. He turned 18 right in the middle of boot camp.

If you get a good recruiter signing up will be a piece of cake.

    =D

  4. a rising SENIOR can,. not a rising Junior.

  5. hey i am currently enlisted in the marines and been in for 3 years now. i was previously in the DEP for like 4 months at which you will be going to functions with your recruiter like a practice pft, marching, ive went rock climbing, flag football games. it all depends on your recruiting station, but i believe you would be able to sign up depending on how long you have till 18.

EDIT:who's the r****d thats thumbing down my husbands answer?.YOU ARE RETARDED!!!
