Can a katana cell phone record its own ringtones?

I have a katana cell phone (the first one). Can you go into voice memo and record your own custom ringtones? I was wondering because i cant recieve them through text because i dont have pic text or intetrnet to open the ringtones. Can i just record it myself? please help! thanks
