  1. Change the earth's weather by displaced water? No. Energy in an earthquake is not transfered to the atmosphere; it is only transfered into the solids/liquids surrounding the earthquake.. A tsunami is a very rapid event. The water comes in and goes back out. The displacement of water does not take enough time to change weather patterns.

Earthquakes, however, can be associated with volcanic events. In this case, you can have an earthquake, quickly followed by a volcanic event. Many volcanic events will change the weather around the volcano because they release water and ash into the air. Some volcanic events are significant enough to change global temperatures. The last one that changed global temperatures was Pinutabo in the Phillipines, I believe. When Pinutabo erupted, there were certainly earthquakes associated with it. However, the weather change was really due to the volcanic eruption rather then the earthquake.

  2. yes example: earthquake triggers a tsunami, weather becomes stormy

  3. you just asked that question and i just answered it. this one sounds a little smarter though, eh?
