I am five foot four and weigh about 210 lbs...I wear size 16 and 18 pants. I don't want to go in and be embarrased and upset my sister going with me because I can't fit on the rides.. Will I be able to ride them?

  1. You most definitely can. People up to (and sometimes even larger) 300 pounds can fit comfortable. If you have questions you can go to www.cedarpoint.com and you will see that they have weight maximums for all of the rides.

    Don't worry....no fear of embarassment....have a wonderful time!

  2. On some rides you may not. Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Wicked Twister, and Maverick may be problems. It will depend more on the girth of your lap (upper thighs) as to if the belts will reach far enough. I am 5' 8" and 225 and the larger rides like Millennium Force are really pushing it for me. I have very muscular thighs since I play hockey 4+ times a week and the belt barely reaches sometimes. What's funny is the belt is different sizes at different places on the train. The belts on the lake side of the train (left) are slightly larger in some places. You'll know what I mean when you try them out.

And be warned, the belt at the test seat in the front of the line is actually longer then those used on the ride!!! Some ride operators also enforce a 1" slack rule, once you have the belt buckled you need to pull it tighter by an inch. Hopefully they have done away with that this year (haven't gone yet.)

Take everything out of your pockets and wear thin clothing. Just try not to get embarassed if you can't ride because I have seen normal sized people that just have large muscular thighs not be able to ride because of the belt.
