  1. UK - only under very limited circumstances (gamekeepers for example)and only certain kinds of firearms (normally limited to shotguns).

    In switzerland nearly every adult male is part of the countries militia and are obliged to keep a firearm.

  4. I'll answer how I please, thankewverymuch.

    Canadians have restricted rights to own guns.  Handguns require special permits, which are hard to get.  Assault weapons are banned.  Long guns require a permit and there are restrictions how guns are to be stored backed up by criminal penalties.

    I don't remember the last time I heard about a child being accidentally killed while playing with a gun in Canada, but it's been more than a decade.

    Our crime rate is lower than the US's and falling every year.

    So your country is doing it wrong, bud.

United States of America:  Yes.  Thankfully in the USA we have the Second Amendment, which is the right to keep and bear arms, since history has shown that tyrants eliminate resistance by simply taking away the people's arms and make it an offense to keep them in order to control the masses.  We can even legally use & obtain concealed carry permits in order to protect ourselves and others.
