  1. This question comes up over and over again.  Usually people ask if they need a visa to go someplace if they have a US green card.

The fact that you are a legal resident of Canada is completely beside the point.   You need to find out if citizens of your country of citizenship (the one  your passport is from) need a visa to go to the UK.

I have a Canadian passport and a Republic of China Alien Resident Certificate (Taiwan "green card").  My ARC is of no interest whatsover to immigration officials when I travel--only when I return to Taiwan.

  2. Legal Canadian citizens do not need a visa to travel to UK.

Do I need a UK visa?

    No

You will not need a visa to come to the United Kingdom for a short visit

    Your status
