Can a lense too strong have a negative effect on your eye?

Yeah, your vision may be impaired & may cause terrible accidents. Go to an optical shop & have them corrected, explain all to them your complaints so they can know what to do on your case.

A prescription that is too strong will have a negative effect on your vision, and visual comfort , but not on your eye.

It won't ruin, or change your eye...it will just be uncomfortabe to see with.

It may cause a " pulling" sensation , and make your eyes feel tired , and may cause headaches, depending on how much too strong it is.

Try your new specs for a few days, if the symptoms don't get any better , go back to the Doc who made them.
